In 2019 the construction of our pilot RAS farm for arctic charr started. The farm is currently in it's start-up phase and it is expected that  the first fish are ready for consumption at the end of 2020.

The farm is an addition on the other activities and is called 'Streekvis' meaning local fish. The aim is to produce a high quality local product while combining the opportunity to test do experiments, set-ups and equipment.

Arctic charr is a salmonid that is known for is refined taste. the taste is best described as the middle between salmon and trout while having the softer flesh structure of salmon.
